disaster

disaster!  our pc has broken.  it stopped working on sunday afternoon and we've just managed to get our very old & very slow laptop online so we can let everyone know what's going on.

hopefully we will be able to retrieve everything from the hard drive but at the moment we are stuck.
what's worse is, because the email client we use holds all of our previous/old emails on the hard drive of our pc, we can't access any of the emails and we can't email back anyone that is waiting for replies from us!

if anyone has emailed with enquiries in the last few days, please email us again {as we can access new emails} ..... and, in particular, we need Mrs Christopher to contact us regarding the images we were hoping to send on sunday.

regarding our leaf lanterns ..... they are back in stock but you'll have to email or phone us if you'd like to purchase them.

we'll keep you posted as to when we get everything back to normal.

we will have a selection of mirrors & clocks, oak & slate serving boards/plates, leaf lanterns, oak & slate lamps and a range of our furniture {all with 20% off}.




as well as our studio, there will be 2 other open studios in the village - welcombe pottery has a wide range of handmade ceramics & glassware and Paul Jenner's studio will be open selling a selection of his local photography on canvas, framed prints & gift cards.  all studios are offering 20% off.




to find us simply follow the signs from the A39 at Welcombe Cross - our studio is about 200 yards from the pottery & The Old Smithy Inn.

we will be exhibiting work at Made London this friday, saturday & sunday {26 -28 oct} - hope you can make it to the show.



Made London will showcase 150 of the very best & most original makers in this country & beyond, exhibiting the highest quality contemporary craft & design.
the 3 day event will be held at One Marylebone, the old holy trinity church built by Sir John Soane: light filled galleries on the 1st floor, the beautiful nave on the ground floor with mosaics & stained glass windows and a stunning double height crypt with large vaulted pods.
a cafe will serve drinks & light meals in the crypt.


below is a selection of work by different makers that will be exhibiting at the show - you will find us at stand M9 in the mezzanine area of the crypt.

bowerbird

we're looking forward to buying our copy of sibella court's latest book, bowerbird.
we loved her other books, nomad and etcetera, full of beautiful images taken by sibella's brother, photographer chris court, so I'm sure we will love this book too.
